WAS / WERE TONGUE TWISTER 

Who was there?

Was he there? No, he wasn't there

 

Was she there? No, she wasn't

Were you? No, I was not

but if you weren't then... who was there?

We were and They all were,  too

Were they all?- Yes, we were there...

And you... where were you?

 

I was with Bill

studying  this tongue twister

of the simple past tense..

of the verb to be!
