What is Jenny doing? - She is watching TV

- Can you decorate the room, please?
- Will you help me, please? - sure!, No problem.

WHAT ARE THEY DOING?

MAKE QUESTIONS AND ANSWER THEM

Birds/ fly: What are the birds doing, right now? They are flying

My brother/jump: What is my brother doing right now? He is jumping

Mary /hit the ball: What is Mary doing right now? She is hitting the ball

Dolphin / swim in the ocean:  What is the dolphin doing right now? It is swimming in the ocean

Child/ swing in the garden: What is the child doing right now? He is swinging in the garden

Football player / kicking the football: What is the football player doing right now? He is kicking  the football

Children /fight : What are the children doing right now? They are fighting

My parents /walking in the street : What are my parents doing right now? They are walking in the street

 

Presente Contínuo ------> es aquello que ESTAMOS HACIENDO AHORA

Se forma añadiendo +ING al verbo

Reglas al añadir ING:

a: CVC--> duplica la ultima consonante- RUN--> running

• to swim (nadar)----> swimming (nadando)

• to win (ganar)----> winning (ganando)

• to plan (planear)----> planning (planeando)
  

• to sit (sentar)----> sitting (sentando)

• to cut (cortar)----> cutting (cortando)

• to dig (cavar)----> digging (cavando)

 

 b: -e final--> se pierde, no se pone...    - MAKE--> making

• to drive (conducir)--> driving (conduciendo)

• to write (escribir) ---> writing (escribiendo)

• to live (vivir) -----> living (viviendo)

• to come (venir)-----> coming (viniendo)

• to move (mover)----> moving (moviendo)

• to like (gustar)----> liking

c:  -ie final--->son cambiados por "y" seguido por "ing", mientras los verbos que terminan en cualquier vocal solo se añade ing. Por ejemplo: - DIE---dying

• to lie (mentir) -----> lying (mintiendo)

• to go (ir) -----> Going (yendo)

• to see (ver) -----> seeing (viendo)

d:  -y final--->se queda igua, no cambia.  "y" seguido por "ing". Por ejemplo: - PLAY---playing

• To study (estudiar) -----> studying (estudiando)

• To fly (volar) -------> flying (volando)

• To cry (llorar) ----> crying (llorando)

• To spray (pulverizar) -----> spraying (pulverizando)
